Fascinating walking tour of the Gion district

Excellent walking tour - 5 of us were captivated by Hiro’s stories and information of the Gion district. Hiro was warm, friendly and knowledgeable. The 5 of us highly recommend this wonderful tour.

Gion night tour with the perfect guide

Without a doubt the best tour we did on our trip to Japan. Hiro was the best guide we could have gotten. Easy to talk to and deeply knowledgeable about the Gion district (Kyoto), he made the tour a pleasant surprise, not only because of the places he showed us, but also because of the explanations he gave about the neighborhood's customs and traditions. Despite the pace of the tour being naturally fast, Hiro never showed any problem in stopping for as long as necessary to show and explain whatever was necessary, ending up staying with us much longer than expected, even going so far as to look for a place where we could have dinner.

Terrific night tour of the Gion district in Kyoto. Highly recommend it. Hiro is a fantastic tour guide. Very knowledgeable, professional. He is also very personable - lovely personality and made the tour a lot of fun. I'd happily book another tour with him and highly recommend him to other travellers of all ages.

Great way to see Gion

We did this tour our first evening in Kyoto and it was a wonderful way to get a feel for the Gion district. Hero was a wonderful guide - he had lots of knowledge to share and he took some lovely photos of us, and he even provided some restaurant recommendations for after the tour ended. This is definitely a great way to get a feel for Gion and to get slightly off the beaten track.

Omg this tour was awesome. Hero, the tour guide was great very knowledgeable about the area and also making sure we connect with the culture. He even recommended some great food and place with Japanese culture. Loved it. Definitely will recommend it and I would do it again. He is also a great photographer took the time to capture our moments ☺️
