Gion night walk was excellent

We had a walking tour of Gion with Raphael. I highly recommend a tour with him as he is a delightful young man whose knowledge of the Gion’s history and culture was vast. Without Raphael we would not have seen as much on our own or learned as much. Highly recommend this tour.

Great tour to see the Gion area and understand the history of the Geisha

Great tour to get an overview of the history of the Gion area and surrounds. Our guide Nomubasa gave us a great overview of the history of the area and the trip pace was perfect. We also went to several Buddhist and Shinto shrines and got a great explanation of these religions. Highlight was the green onion pancake. One of the best things I have eaten in my Japaneses travels. Highly recommend this tour as a great intro to get familiar with Kyoto and the entertainment districts

Alex was a great tour guide, very helpful and friendly, well known of the japanese culture. I travel with my parents (senior adults) and he was very thoughful. The views and locations were fantastic. I love it.

Our guide, Gus was excellent very knowledgeable about the area and Geisha culture He also gave us great recommendations for restaurants and shopping

Our guide, Marcelo, took us on a beautiful tour of Kyoto. The pacing was well and we enjoyed the blend of historical information and general conversation throughout the tour. We were pleased that the tour took us to all the main highlights of the Gion district and showed us our way around so we could revisit on our own time and have a better understanding of the sites. Our guide also went above and beyond by providing local recommendations for food and things to do.
