Overview

Discover Nara's must-see landmarks on the deluxe coach tour and try to make Matcha tea at Uji in Kyoto, the birthplace of matcha. We will drive pass Fushimi Castle and Heijokyo Palace on the way to Nara. We will visit Todaiji Temple, a house of the Great Buddha of Nara and it is one of the world’s largest wooden buildings. Meet about 1,400 deer at Nara Park, you can even feed them rice crackers. Then we visit Kasuga Taisha Shrine where 3000 magical stone lanterns enlighten you. After lunch, we go to Uji area in Kyoto and try making Uji matcha tea! Tommy was a very good guide. We would go with him again anytime. Very polite and knowledgeable. We loved feeding the deer and the Japanese lunch.

We had such a blast during this tour with Tommy (Yusuke). Although this was his first tour in Kyoto, we’re very happy to say we did not feel he was lacking in any way. The tour is entertaining and engaging, the pacing was just right, we had enough time to explore and the instructions given by Tommy were very clear. Go with the full day tour because the matcha experience in Uji was a lot of fun. In conclusion, thank you for your hospitality, good mood and for giving it your best!

An excelent, interesting an beautiful Tour..Our guide Tommy is amazing! He is very kind and funny. He provided a lot of information, including some basic japanesse lessons. We really enjoyed this experience! Just an important thing, is you are a spanish speaker, the tour is provided in english,there is an audio guide in spanish but very brief. Most of the tour will be in english. Un gran tour, muy interesante, los venados lindísimos, los templos y jardines hermosos. El tour NO es en español. Hay una breve audio guía durante el trayecto en autobús, pero la mayor parte del tiempo, el tour será en inglés.
