    The Castle of the Moors allows you to admire, along the paths of round, between cliffs and cliffs, a unique landscape that extends to the Atlantic ocean. We had the best time with our guide, Davide!! He was 10 mins early picking us up and had booster seats in his van for the kids. He knew exactly where to go and when to get there to skip the lines and maximize our time. The town of Sintra is beautiful and we love love loved the Moorish Castle — could have stayed all day wandering. Pena Palace is a must-visit, but it is very crowded. Definitely glad we had Davide to guide us — I had considered renting a car and piecing it together myself but we would have missed so much and it would have been very overwhelming with all the crowds to know where to go. The whole family agrees it was a 10/10!!

Our guide, Ana, was great! We were able to move through each site at our own pace and she would add “commentary” to the signage posted, giving us a more unique experience. If we get to Lisbon again, we would definitely look to book a second trip to visit a new place!
