Excellent tour guide Veni

We really enjoyed our historic underground vaults tour. Our guide Veni was excellent, really knowledgeable and told the stories so well. Would definitely recommend this tour we learnt a lot about Edinburgh, when we come back we will book another tour!

This was a most informative and entertaining tour which lasted just the right length of time. We had two guides -Nichola and Michael- who were both knowledgeable and humorous. I was accompanied by my 12 year old grandson who loved the experience.

Booked the history tour because I wanted to experience the underground vaults in the historical context rather than spooky scary skeleton stuff. My guide, Veni, was funny, knowledgable and overall an amazing human being. We ended up doing the tour just the two of us because of no-show, but she did not skimp on the details. I know for some people (not me) history might have a connotation of being a sleeping pill, but WAIT until you go on the underground tour with Veni because it was even more lit than whatever wine they had down there, lol. Next time I wouldn’t mind the spooky scary skeleton because I know it would be one of a kind experience coming from Mercat Tour. Highly recommend.

Great fun, Steph made us laugh, top quality guide. It was striking to imagine what people really went thru in the vaults! Made me want to know the ghost stories too.
