7:30-8:00Am Our tour guide will welcome you with a sign (your name) at Main Gate of cruise port (2 to 5 minutes by shuttle bus from the ship to the gate) and depart to Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) around 1. 5 hours by private mini-van. Then we will do this tour by seeing with many special places in Saigon as follows: • Saigon Eco Village: This place is very famous with local people for picnic and fishing at weekend. I will introduce to you how they grow the rice, how they catch a fish but in Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) (This is an unseen part of Saigon). We will enjoy a cup of coffee or local beer with Vietnamese style here.     This is a special shore excursion tour to Saigon for exploration local areas that perpetuate the daily lives of ordinary Vietnamese living in Saigon. You will find yourselves drowned in the charming beauty of countryside, with gigs, a blue canal, dinghies, a rough monkey bridge.... This is one of Real Local Area for tourist who want to see local life. This place is very famous with local people for picnic and fishing at weekend. You will see how they grow the rice, how they catch a fish but in Saigon city (This is an unseen part of Saigon).

    The palace is like a time capsule frozen in 1975. You can see two of the original tanks used in the capture of the palace parked in the grounds. Independence Palace was the home and workplace of the French Governor of Cochin-China. It has lush gardens, secret rooms, antique furniture, and a command bunker. It's still in use to host important occasions in Ho Chi Minh, including APEC summits.

    You will find this pagoda in District 1 one of the oldest pagoda in Saigon, which is roughly a ten minute drive from the city centre.

  • Ben Thanh Market

    Ben Thanh Market in Ho Chi Minh City's District 1 is a great place to buy local handicrafts, branded goods, Vietnamese art and other souvenirs. Here, you’ll find eating stalls inside the market where you can get a taste of hawker-style Vietnamese cuisine or simply cool off with a cold drink when the bargaining becomes too much. The market is big, difficult to navigate at times and certainly best avoided during the hottest part of the day but all the same its well worth a look.

    A must see in Saigon: Originally constructed as a hotel in 1898 by French architect Gardes, it now serves as a city hall and one of the city’s most iconic landmarks.

Mia and her driver—5 star in every way!

Our tour guide Mia was absolutely fantastic. We booked a full day private tour and she was able to navigate us to VIP access to all of the historical sites, then treated us to lunch at a local yummy restaurant. We were able customized what we wanted to see with ease as Mia and the driver were quite flexible. The car was perfectly clean w cold A/C! Thank you so much Mia!

Great excursion to Saigon from Phu My port

Our guide, Ms. Hân, made our excursion to Saigon memorable. She is a Mandarin speaking guide we requested. She is very knowledgeable as a local guide in Saigon and arranged everything timely to fill our few hours trip with various activities. She is also very friendly and got along well with everyone of us. Highly recommended.

Highly recommend this tour! A+++++ We were contacted as soon as we had purchased the tour online. They are very helpful, knowledgable and take such good care of you. Our driver for the day was #1 Driver!!! Our host Ms. Nguyen (Mia) was such a delight and full of beautiful energy and passion. It was such a memorable day spent with two very lovely, friendly people and are a very well organised team. They truly are passionate about showing you their City and Country of SaiGon, Viet Nam. Awesome guide Linh and great tour!

Great guide and tour! Linh was our guide and she was great. We were picked up at the port for our day. They were on time and the vehicle was very clean and comfortable. The drive from the port is fairly long but Linh was very chatty and informative about Vietnam, the history and culture. We were able to ask her a lot about the country and had some great conversations. We made a number of stops in the city and enjoyed a traditional lunch and an interesting restaurant. Due to the long distance from the port to the city we had to head back a bit earlier than we would have liked but the traffic is thick. Our guide and driver were very conscious of our timing to get back to the cruise ship so we didn't miss it. I would definitely hire them again, they were very professional and engaging. Thanks for a great day Linh!!!
