My partner and I took this tour with our guide, Lư tuấn Nghĩa on 30 Dec 2024. We were collected on time from our hotel and had a pleasant journey to the Mekong River. The whole thing ran very efficiently to schedule. During the journey, Lu told us a lot of interesting stories and facts about the Mekong and Vietnam in general. We learned a lot. He was a fantastic guide and took many photos for us using his phone and then sent them all to use during the tour. He also sent us lots of extra information on WhatsApp about the fruits and plants we saw during the day.
The tour included many different and interesting stops, as well as different boat journeys (with a bigger boat at first and then smaller rowing boats). The lunch was very big and varied and we later had a coconut to drink and some local fruits while listening to traditional music.
The Mekong River trip was very good value for money although I wouldn't recommend paying extra for a small group (<9) tour, as our tour with 12 people was very comfortable and there was enough space and time to do everything in a relaxed and enjoyable way.
Kim Travel were excellent travel agents and we would recommend them for different types of tours.
