Harry Potter and fun Edinburgh history all in one

This was a very informative and fun 2-in-1 tour that covered all the bases. We saw all (so many!) of the Harry Potter related sites on our list, plus many historical sites of Edinburgh. Rob regaled us with stories of Edinburgh's past as he showed us sites of executions, memorials and gravestones. He went above and beyond with advice about the city, places to eat and other things to take in. It ended up being a private tour and conversation flowed easily since Rob is so personable and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this tour---we learned a lot (and even enjoyed the jokes), and it never got "hokey".

perfect solo travel day

By chance, I was the only one on this walk since I think it was a last minute posting. Rob was so great, friendly, knowledgeable, and luckily has an English accent so I didn't struggle to understand him lol. Also, this might seem minor, but he took a couple of great photos of me that I plan to post, and I'm picky so that's an impressive feat. 6 out of 5 stars!!! (iykyk)

Walking tour through Edinburgh

Rob is simply the best! He is very knowledgeable and balanced the tour with Harry Potter highlights as well as Scottish history. His dad jokes only added to the experience. We cannot thank him enough for making our first day in Edinburgh memorable (as well as the rest of our journey given his extensive recommendations for delicious food)!
