We are delighted to offer this 'Oxford Highlights' tour to experience the very best of Oxford. Meet at Christ Church memorial gardens for this comprehensive walking tour of the university and see many of the famous colleges and university buildings. Find out how Oxford works and why it is here. Learn about the many famous people who have studied here. This tour represents outstanding value for money as we keep our groups small in size - this allows you to ask questions and interact and for the guide to tune into particular interests. NOTE; 4 pax required to be able to operate this tour and we reserve the right to cancel.

Itinerary

  • Christ Church

    This is a small group tour and half the size of many other tours in Oxford. Start the tour here and admire the architecture of probably the most famous college in Oxford. Many tours do not see Christ Church (from the outside) and we believe this is an excellent place to start the tour and hear an orientation of how it all began. This also gives you an overview to visit Christ Church independently in the afternoon should you wish.

A Tour of Morse’s Oxford

My friend and I came to Oxford for a mini break as I especially wanted to do the Morse, Lewis and Endeavour Tour. Our guide was Magnus and he was very engaging, with just the right balance of information and humour. It was so interesting learning about all the filming locations. This tour is perfect for fans of all 3 shows. I shall be watching them again with renewed interest now!

Rebecca was a brilliant group leader, very relaxed to listen to and the ear phones were great idea. Time passed very quickly but there was never information overload. Hugely enjoyable afternoon

Rebecca is brilliant . Her knowledge of the Morse,Lewis, Endeavour series is exceptional and she links it brilliantly to Oxford history and landmark buildings. She takes her time and is unfazed by questions. Really special for us fans of the TV series. Make sure you get Rebecca we were not disappointed!!!

A wonderful way to visit Oxford

Heidi did an amazing job accommodating all our expectations and joys from watching countless episodes of the TV series Inspector Morse/Lewis/Endeavour that the tour is based on. She also incorporated many interesting historical facts and stories about the very old university town, and completed the tour so I could catch my train back to London on time. Heidi was also very responsive to all my email enquiries and has a lovely sense of humour.
