Overview

Our guides, Oxford alumni or students, blend personal experiences with a passion for the city's history and architecture. The tour is conducted in English and takes place outdoors. Indoor access isn’t included unless booked in advance. For entry to specific colleges, such as New College, request this option ahead of time. Our 90-minute tour covers highlights like Balliol College, Trinity College, Sheldonian Theatre, Bridge of Sighs, Old Bodleian Library, Radcliffe Square, All Souls College, St Mary’s Church, Merton College, Christ Church College Meadows and South Wall. Take a fascinating walk through Oxford, where history comes alive. Visit the meadows where Lewis Carroll first imagined Alice in Wonderland and admire stunning Gothic and Baroque architectures.

This was such a great tour with a perfect amount of sites fitted into 1.5 hours. Our guide Savannah was so lovely and filled with knowledge of both history and her own experience as a previous student. She also gave great additional tips on other sites worth seeing and favourite places to eat. This tour should definitely have been in the beginning of my stay in Oxford so we could have tried out even more of her recommendation, as the ones we managed to fit in were great.

Amazing tour with knowledgeable guide! Savannah was amazing at leading the tour, she had such interesting stories and fun tidbits to share, and of course a lot of history. We had a great time and we think this is the best way to get to know Oxford.

We had Gladsan and he was a great guide. Very, very knowledgeable. We had a small group, the 4 people in my family, plus two others. So it made it a lot more personal as a tour. Gladsan was always smiling and happy to answer any questions.
