Discover the beautiful Oxford on an unlimited hop-on hop-off bus tour for 24 or 48 hours! At your own pace, see all of the history and architectural beauty this city has to offer, hopping on and off the double-decker bus whenever you please. From the open-top deck you'll experience panoramic views of Christ Church College, Brasenose College, The Plain, the Sheldonian Theatre, Trinity College and even The Eagle and Child pub where J.R.R. Tolkien and C.S. Lewis would meet up for a beverage! The on-board audio tour commentary will be sure to keep you fascinated, providing intriguing facts on the way round. Also enjoy an expertly guided walking tour, for a closer look at the local culture.

  • 25th November - 19th December 2024: First departure from Stop 1 at 9:30am. Last departure from Stop 1 at 4pm. Frequency - 20 - 30 minutes
  • 20th December - 5th January 2025: First departure from Stop 1 at 9:30am. Last departure from Stop 1 at 4pm. Frequency - every 15 - 20 minutes
  • 6th January - 13th February 2025: First departure from Stop 1 at 9:30am. Last departure from Stop 1 at 4pm. Frequency - every 20 minutes
  • 14th February - 3rd April 2025: First departure from Stop 1 at 9:30am. Last departure from Stop 1 at 5pm. Frequency - every 15 - 20 minutes
  • Duration: 40 minutes
  • 45-minute Stepping Through Oxford Walking Tour: Daily. Departure Point: 44-45 High Street. Departures at 11:30am, 12:30pm, 1:30pm and *2:30pm. *Saturdays and Sundays during half term and Bank Holiday weekends
  • Please note that the guided walking tour is seasonal, and customers should enquire upon arrival for more information.
  • Mobile or paper vouchers accepted. Paper vouchers must be redeemed at City Sightseeing shop in Oxford Railway Station.
  • Vouchers are valid for 12 months from the travel date selected at check-out
  • Please note, Stop 19 St. Giles Church will be closed until the end of the year. Customers are advised to hop-on and hop-off from either Stops 18 or 20
  • Please note that due to emergency roadworks, Stop 13 will be out of use until Thursday 21st November

I had a wonderful time on the hop on hop off bus. Greg was extremely knowledgeable and charming on the tour and answered all my questions. He also gave great advice on restaurants and pubs. I would highly recommend.

Great day tour around Oxford, lots to see. Paid a little extra for a guided tour half way through. Highly recommended and worth the extra few pounds. Our guide Chris Cochran was wonderful, knows the history so well and was a true gentleman.

I recently had the please of being shown around Oxford by our guide, Lesley, on a company retreat. It was a wonderful way to learn more about the history of the city and university, and see the sights; as someone who grew up in Oxford, I learned far more than I was expecting! Lesley was knowledgeable and personable, and made the experience a brilliant one.

We recently visited Oxford for a long weekend and used the hop on hop off bus tour. Really enjoyed it. Very informative and we saw everything we had planned on seeing. Our driver Nik Phillips was brilliant. Gave us good tips on places to go. Well worth it.
