Overview
Sigiriya Rock Fortress the 8th Wonder of the World is considered as a placed not to be missed by anybody who visits this beautiful Island. Pidurangala rock another historical place located next to Sigirya and has become a trending place with among both locals and foreigners. Dambulla Cave Temple is known as one of the oldest and biggest rock temples in the world. The Safari at Minneriya National Park will make your trip complete. This 04 hour off road trip will allow you to see hundreds of Elephants in their natural behavior at their own place. Tour in a traditional village is another interesting item you can add for the day. These key places are located within close proximity. Situated in the Matale District, Central Province of Sri Lanka, situated 148 km (92 mi) north-east of Colombo and 72 km (45 mi) north of Kandy.
Note : If you are booking the 11.00 am starting time, we might not be able to do the safari tour at the National park or the Sigiriya rock due to the limited time.

Amazing Tour & Hike

I was visited two sites with Kushan Sandharuwan in Lion's Rock/ Sigiriya & Adam's Peak/ Sri Pada.
It was amazing trip specially in Adam's Peak.
Kushan pick me from my hotel & drive all the way to Adam's Peak & hike with me at the top of Adam' Peak during wild weather as it was off season.
I was really inspired to hike on the Adam's peak when Kushan was with me because of there was no visitor at all. Finally we reached at the top & come down again. It was amazing hiking for me & lifetime experience to hike 2243 m / 5500 steps.
So l specifically thanks to Kushan Sandharuwan who was with me as a company.

Mahaweli tour team were very responsive to last minute changes, and were able to help us organise a private tour after our plans changed unexpectedly.
Private car (with water and A/C) tour guide Janaka was knowledgeable and friendly, and even personally led us through Dambulla caves temple. Sigiriya and Dambulla were amazing to behold.
Many thanks to Janaka, and tour coordinator Geesara, and the team at Mahaweli Tours and Holidays were a pleasure to enjoy this experience with. 5 stars : )

Guide Janaka was great. Very grateful for the service.
We left from Kandy. The whole tour took 12 hours. The guide helped with any questions and difficulties. Sigeriya and Dambola are amazing places.

A wonderful day. Taking in a beautiful Hindu temple, Dambulla caves, Sigiria (what an adventure), an elephant safari, and spice garden - and more! Excellent driver, the group gelled, the atmosphere was great. Highly recommended.

Fantastic day organised by Geesara. Our driver Sampath was wonderful, incredibly friendly and looked after us very well! A curry lunch and guide to take us up Sigiriya had also been organised which were great touches. Will definitely contact Geesara next time we visit Sri Lanka for more trips!
