Wonderful day trip to Dambulla and Sigiriya from Kandy

Very nice daytrip to Dambulla and Sigiriya. The driver picked us up early moring in our hotel in Kandy. First we visited a Hindu temple in Matale. This was really interesting. Second stop was a spicegarden. It was interesting as well but not my thing. Third stop and a highlight was the rock cave in Dambulla where we could see many Buddha, sitting ones as well as reclining ones. Then we went for a quick bite and finally to the Sigiriya Lions rock. It was hot hot hot but very beautiful and worth it (make sure you have water and sunscreen). A highlight was certainly a visit to the Frescos on the way down from the rock. On the way back our driver Mohammed spent us all a coconut to drink. We returned back in Kandy early evening. Mohammed is a safe driver. Everything was organised flawlessly by Leon. It is a day to remember.

We had the pleasure of traveling to Sigiriya from Kandy with Mohamed and it was a thoroughly pleasant experience. During the trip he was very friendly and helpful, and gave us interesting insights into the local culture. I would definitely travel with him again!

The Tour with Mohemed was 100% Perfect! He is a very good driver, I felt safe! He brought me to all places, gavé me good explanations in a very good English. He even bought delicious snacks and water for me. The sights are all worthwhile. The climbing of Sigiririya is great but climbing on Pidurangala was the best! I highly recommand!!!!
