Overview

Learn to cook an authentic Sri Lankan meal inside an authentic village kitchen hosted by a local family. 8 Dishes will be cooked using primitive tools as well as a few modern tools so you can cook these meals when you are at your home. So roll up your sleeves, with the help of us you can start experiencing the cooking process of this rich indigenous selection with distinct differences in taste in the low country, hill country, and northern regions of the island. Enjoy the Dinner with 8 authentic dishes and Sri Lankan village fruits inside an outdoor village dining hut. Hotel Pick Up and Drop, Dinner, Welcome Sri Lankan Cocktail / Sri Lankan Cocktail / Coffee/ Herbal Tea/ King Coconut Water/ Beer and Bottled water are included. A must in Kandy

This was, by far, one of the best experiences we’ve had so far in Sri Lanka. The staff were very knowledgeable and friendly and I can’t think of anything that could be improved upon. We can’t wait to add these recipes to our food rotation at home.

An absolute must do!! All the spices and vegetables are grown on site (for the class and wider community), lovely hosts and the portions were huge! Nila is a great cook and teaches you everything from start to finish. I’d 100% do the class again!

Amazing experience, very well thought out and executed. We really enjoyed it- you get to chose when they pick you up at your hotel, and special request any specific dishes as well as whether you want veg, meat or fish. We requested a dhal which was great and fish too. Loads of food- in total 7 dishes- nothing goes to waste though. Great experience

We loved our experience learning to prepare a variety of dishes using traditional methods. And after cooking we weee able to enjoy our creations and everything we tasted was delicious. The whole experience was one of the best on our time in Sri Lanka.
