Incredible tour with Joe as part of the Sandeman’s Edinburgh city tour - so knowledgeable, great storyteller, and super engaging. I’ve been on a ton of walking tours and would say this is definitely one of the best guides. Couldn’t imagine a better way to kick off your time here - gives you great bearings of the city, excellent overview of history, and so many recommendations for the rest of your stay. Highly recommend!

A city well worth a private tour

We had an excellent tour with Brian. He was engaging, interesting, and flexible in making sure to accommodate any particular interests we had. He’s a former journalist and knows Edinburgh past and present, inside and out. Edinburgh is one of the most beautiful amd historic cities in Europe and given its richness is well worth a private tour. We highly recommend Brian and Sandeman.
