Overview

Enjoy a guided bike tour as you discover the history, culture and the nature of this Mediterranean pearl by cycling through the streets of downtown Split. You will cycle through 1700 years buildings such as Diocletian palace. Safety is key, so you will be provided with a high quality bike and helmet.

  • Palazzo di Diocleziano

    You will start your tour by passing city harbor and main green market before reaching Riva, seaside promenade there you will have sea on one side and 1700 years old Diocletian palace walls on other.

  • Croatian National Theater

    Cycling through the old town you will feel busy every-day life in the town center while passing by fish market, Croatian National Theatre, Ottoman-time fortifications and other famous sights.

  • Prodaja Fritula

    You will also learn about rich sports history of Split, having the biggest number of Olympic medals per capita, hear story about the passion and love for football, pass by beautiful Poljud stadium...

  • Marjan Park

    And then the nature takes over as you will be cycling into relaxing energy of Marjan hill, riding through chilling shade of pine tree forest, enjoying your view on marina, beaches, islands and hills surrounding the town. After reaching the Marjan cape, tour is taking you uphill, opening the fantastic view on the surrounding islands and beaches surrounding the town. Here, there is also an 15th century chapel of Saint Jerome and hermitage built in the cave. From here, you can cycle the top of the 178 meters high hill or go strains east until finally reaching unforgettable view on the whole from the Vidilica. Surely the best view in the area!

  • Sustipan

    The route will then take us through the narrow streets of Varos neighborhood where in the past centuries farmers, fishermen and working class used to live in a very dense living space. Our final stop is Sustipan, old city park located on the cliffs just above the sea. From here, we will be cycling by the biggest city marina, enjoy the famous city Promenade and finalize our trip in the city centre.

Best tour to start my holiday

Eva was fantastic - I was the only one on the tour as pre season and very grateful It wasn’t cancelled! Absolutely loved every part of- the views. The conversations, recommendations, photo opportunities - I didn’t want the morning to end! I did the tour without electric bike and no trouble at all , fabulous - everyone should do it - it’s a great start to your visit - you get to see so much ! Thank you Eva!

Wow what a beautiful city, fantastic tour and perfect host. Ivana makes this tour. She is fun, knowledgeable and speaks excellent English. The 360 views of Split from the Observatory were a memory for a life time. We will definitely be back to Split and when we do Ivana and Adventure Tours will be getting a call for sure. This bike tour is the perfect way to see Split. Our incredible guide Ivana made sure that the cycling was manageable with regular breaks and gave us loads of really interesting information, with lots of humour and tips for the rest of our stay.
