Join us on the Krka waterfalls tour from Split where you will experience one of Croatia’s best national parks - Krka National Park! Admire an amazing waterfall, swim in the river and wander the cobblestone streets of an idyllic Dalmatian town.

Itinerary

  • Krka National Park

    Skradinski Buk is one of Croatia’s natural treasures and is the longest and most impressive waterfall on the Krka River. Here your licensed guide will take you on a 30 minutes tour of this stunning cascading waterfall, the centuries old water mills, rolling mills and washing columns where you will see the traditional folk architecture. From there it’s off to the “Golden Flower of Europe award” an award-winning Ethno village to learn about the history of Skradinski Buk. In addition, your guide will show you the rich diversity of the Flora, 1022 recorded species, and the endemic, rare and threatened fauna of Krka National Park. This is where you will get a rare opportunity to admire the crystal clear pools under the Skradinski Buk waterfall and explore its travertine formations. This is a magical experience and something you will always treasure long after you return home. Be sure to bring your camera along.

    There is nothing quite like meandering down a quiet river taking in the picturesque surrounds of the Krka National Park. Here you will get the chance to do so. The beauty of the Krka River is best seen from a boat with uninterrupted views. Along the way keep any eye out for the local swans, beautiful scenery, all set in a pristine natural environment. It’s the perfect time to sit back and reflect on your incredible day. Your guide will escort you on the boat to Skradin. Upon arrival, you will notice the Skradin Marina, with its 180 boat capacity, is one of the best looking marina’s you have ever seen. Skradin has a long history and was once a Roman Municipal, ruled by the Venetians, and the Turkish at different times in history. You can chose to spend an hour and a half in the city or swimming on the beach.

  • From January 2021, the practice of swimming in the park is not allowed;
  • Swimming is possible in Skradin city after the boat ride;
  • Entrance fee for the National Park (You will be charged an additional fee in cash on the day of departure)
  • This experience requires a minimum number of travellers. If it’s cancelled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund;
  • This tour will have a maximum of 50 travellers;
  • In case of rain, the tour is going to happen regardless.

Hanging in Split for the weekend this tour was recommended as a must see and I can understand why. The location and setting is superb, make sure you have walking shoes and a good camera or a great camera phone as you will want to capture for memories. Pelican Tours offered a superb team, that ensure the day went smoothly. Ante the driver of our bus and Tonko our guide was amazing, passionate and very knowledgeable with hacks to endure the day. Highly recommend

Our trip to the Krka Nationalpark and Waterfalls was a good addition to our holiday in split. It was a reasonable price for the beautiful nature we saw. Our guide Tonko was very funny and kind and still left us with a lot of free time :) . This way we could explore the route in our own time and later still had time to go swimming.
