If you’re looking for the ultimate motorbike rental in Croatia, look no further than Desmo Adventure. I recently rented the brand-new BMW R1300GS, and the experience was nothing short of spectacular. The bike was a beast—powerful, smooth, and incredibly comfortable for long-distance riding. The Desmo Adventure team was fantastic from start to finish. They provided a full briefing on the bike, gave me route suggestions, and made sure everything was perfectly set up. I toured the Dalmatian coast, passed through scenic mountain roads, and visited several national parks—all with ease thanks to the R1300GS. The bike was in pristine condition, fully equipped with panniers and GPS, and felt like it had just rolled out of the showroom. Whether you’re doing a solo trip or a two-up tour, this bike is ideal for Croatian terrain. Desmo Adventure is hands down one of the best providers for BMW motorbike rental in Croatia. Visiting Terra Arhaica was the highlight of our trip. From the moment we arrived, we felt like we were being welcomed into someone’s home as family. The cooking class in their 150 year old family kitchen was both authentic and heartwarming. Jaksa, Lana, and Magdalena were incredibly generous with their time, offering not only an educational and engaging experience at their property, but also thoughtful recommendations that helped shape the rest of our time on the island. Their hospitality went far beyond what we expected — they genuinely cared about making our visit special. We can’t recommend it enough. We did a day trip to Hvar from Split but next time we would definitely stay longer at their bed & breakfast.
We had an excellent time on our private tour of the Blue Lagoon. Due to unpredictable weather, we had been concerned that we wouldn’t be able to go on the trip, however Mario was really accommodating and flexible, offering solutions and alternatives where possible. Luckily we were able to go on the trip and all worked out well. Marko was our captain, he was lovely and took us to the recommended places. The highlight was the final stop on the island and a drink at the most beautiful little beach bar! It’s a great way to see to see the islands particularly if you are time limited. I would definitely recommend this company!
An Unforgettable Adventure! If you're planning a trip to Korcula, you cannot skip this! There’s more than one buggy tour on the island but this is the one to sign up for. The couple who runs this business are amazing and provide an exceptional experience. We saw so much of the island we otherwise would not have. They were so thoughtful, even setting us up with the best photo ops. After zipping around they invited us in to their home to enjoy a beautiful spread of home made bread, cheese, and wine they make themselves. Scrumptious snacks and fun in the sun! We were three adult couples on a full day tour, a 195 mile round trip to see the major sites of Morstar and Medjugorje in Bosnia. Zlatko "Goldy" Jelclc was our fantastic driver and guide. He is a native Croatian with a vast reserve of knowledge and experience that he articulated in very clear English. He was attentive to our needs (comfort stops), flexible in accommodating our wishes (two separate drop-off hotels), and asked our preferences for routes and sites to visit. The Mercedes van was comfortable for six adults; all of us could view the passing scenery very well. We are unanimous in recommending Goldy as a driver and a new friend!
Wonderful cruise to the islands. The crew of the Regina Maris took good care of us. Lunch choice of chicken, fish or vegetarian was provided. Food was very good. Enjoyed each island and what they offered… hiking/walking, wine tastings and olive oil samplings… of course your shops and swimming. I would recommend this for a day if you come to Debrovnik.
My daughter and I kayaked on a beautiful sunny day in late May. It was a little windy so a very good upper body workout. We got pretty wet due to the choppiness of the water and if I were less experienced I may have felt some anxiety. We stopped to se at Bettina Cave which was lovely - but wear water shoes as it is very rocky.
It was just my friend and I. Our guide, Hrvejo, was wonderful and adapted to our style of riding and our sense of travel. We spent most of our time in Marjan Forest—lovely! He stopped at various locations to provide history and local lore with some humor. Much appreciated! Highly recommend Hrvejo as your guide.
We booked an excursion to Klis Fortress and a Soparnik tasting because we wanted to try something local and not too common. We were really pleasantly surprised by how well-organized the trip was and how Soparnik, as a local dish, is both simple yet delicious. Soparnik is like a Croatian version of pizza but much tastier and very healthy—it contains only four ingredients: Swiss chard, thin dough, onions, and olive oil. Everyone who visits Split must try Soparnik!
From the moment we booked with Kika, everything went smoothly. The panoramic views of Brijuni, the stunning sunset, and the delicious dinner on board were all amazing. Plus, we even got to see dolphins! We couldn't have asked for a better experience. Highly recommended and see you next year!
