A highlight in Tokyo

The Tokyo Sky Tree is the tallest tower in the world! Must book tickets in advance for the best experience; worth paying the extra to go another 100 meters higher to the Galleria and standing on the glass floor. Went at 7pm and the views were amazing. Be prepared- it is very crowded and long lines - people taking pictures and for the elevators so please plan for that in case you have booked other events on the same day!

It was very nice. We could totally see the whole city. We enjoyed ourselves. We went all the way to the top! We took some fabulous photos.

This is an amazing feat of engineering, lots of fun and really (really) well organised by the friendly staff. The views are well worth it, from start to finish was about 2 hours as we stopped at the excellent cafe. A really great trip to take and very reasonably priced.

A great view of Tokyo

A bit expensive but what a view of Tokyo you get. Can be very crowded with tourists and local school groups. It is well organised and run as you would expect of the Japanese. Easy to get to by train using google maps and an enjoyable couple of hours to spend. Great views as far as the eye can see on a clear day. You don’t need to book ahead there’s plenty of tickets available even if you just need to go and have a coffee before your ticket entry time. You can take your camera. At the gallery there’s a free photo opportunity but you pay for the larger photo. When you go just look for the cars on the roads, I think you would agree there’s very few for a city of its size.

Great views

We only went to the Tembo deck (not the Galleria). We went near dusk, but we would recommend coming a bit before dusk to ensure that you can get glimpse of Tokyo in the sun! Would also recommend going to the lower floor early on as many people only realised there was a lower floor when exiting. The lower floor has the advantage of being a lot less packed. There is a very nice mall and food court, which is worth a visit!
