Overview
Climb aboard a traditional Japanese rickshaw for an unforgettable view of the Asakusa district in Tokyo. Your knowledgeable guide will steer you to some of Tokyo’s many iconic sites, districts, temples and shrines while illuminating the history behind them all. Enjoy scenic views of maple and cherry trees, gardens, soaring skyscrapers, and traditional businesses. If you’re looking for a carefree, customizable way to see Tokyo, this is it.
Apart from the above courses, we have other special course for guests who really want to get away from the city.
If you have already seen the crowds and buildings in Tokyo, let’s get away from that and enjoy the view across the sumida river and go into places where you can refresh your mind under the quiet trees and monument of Asahi beer headquarter! We shall go across the bridge to the peaceful area of sumida park and Ushijima shrine where you can enjoy the Japanese garden park and lucky fortune cow shrine.

While rickshaws are able to fit two adults, each rickshaw is 29.1 inches (74 centimeters) wide, and it is sometimes more comfortable to book individual rickshaws for each passenger. For passengers of size, we recommend booking a rickshaw for each participant to ensure a comfortable ride. Passengers who do not both fit in one rickshaw but wish to participate in a tour at the same time will be required to purchase an additional rickshaw, which may not be available on the date of the tour with an English-speaking guide if not booked in advance. Those customers who do not purchase an additional rickshaw at the time of booking cannot be guaranteed availability.

A fun way to see the Asakusa

A fun way to see Asakusa area, we visited several smaller shrines and temples, learned about local traditions, and took lots of pictures. A good option if you’d like to see the area in a short amount of time. Our guide Issy was wonderful. Highly recommend.

A great way to experience Asakusa

We spontaneously took a 15min Ebisuya rickshaw tour of Asakusa on the 25th Feb. It was a great way to end our visit, especially in our rented kimonos. As we were 3, we rock/paper/scissored for who would get to have their own princess rickshaw.
All the guides were friendly and accommodating; we were given blankets and heat packs to keep us warm.
Our guide Kaisei and his colleague kept us very entertained with amusing stories but also lots of history and great recommendations for food/drink.
A really worthwhile experience that I'd do again.
Fun and easy way to get an overview of Asakusa

Very fun way to get an overview of the area. Made a reservation ahead of time and they were waiting with a big sign with my name on it and big smiles. My husband and I are not small people but we fit in the rickshaw. Our driver, who was a former soccer prodigy, pulled us with apparent ease all over Asakusa while narrating the sites and answering questions about himself and Japan. I am happy with the decision to book this
