Overview

Come with us on this private tour and discover all the interesting locations of the filming of the Game of Thrones series. Go through the locations, streets and squares where your favorite characters walked. In addition, discover the historical background of these locations with our expert guide :) Tour takes place in two locations - Klis Fortress & Split Old Town. Transportation is provided and included in the price. The first location is the Klis fortress. There you will spend an hour and a half with a guide and enjoy an incredible view of the city. After that, return to the old part of Split, where you will visit the substructures of Diocletian's Palace and other filming locations of the series. All tickets are included in the price. This series changed the lives of the citizens of Croatia, especially Split, which before filming was undiscovered by tourists, only to experience an incredible takeoff and transformation of the city center after filming.

    One of the most fascinating filming locations in Split are the substructures of the Roman palace of Emperor Diocletian.

  • Old Split

    You will visit all the historical filming locations as well as the alleys through which the actors passed in the scenes with detailed explanations of the historical background from our guide.

  • Klis Fortress

    With the expert guidance of our guide, you will visit this impressive medieval fortress that was the filming location of the city of Meereen in the series.

We had an amazing time touring the Game of Thrones sites in Split with Gita. She was not only very knowledgeable about the history, and the filming, but was actually an extra on the show and had some fun stories! She knew everyone in town and at the sites and really made it feel like a personal tour of her town. We felt very welcome. Even experienced some extras like a sword fight and the Game of Thrones Museum. Cannot recommend it enough!
