We loved Hana and the customized tour of Tokyo!

We booked a 5 hour private customized tour with Hana through TJT and had the best time! She took us to Meiji Castle and gave us some background on the castle as well as suggested some great photo spots and angles. She also taught us the correct way to wash ourselves before going up to the alter and then the proper way to drop the coin and pray. Then she took us to have a delicious Satsumaya pork lunch & ice cream in cute Harajuku shopping area. My husband wanted to check out a certain store so she advised him which way to go and he met up with us in Harajuku. She then took us across Shinjuku Crossing and Hachi statute. We ended our tour at the fancy shopping mall with the Nintendo & Pokemon store, which was perfect for my husband and son. Hana was so sweet and accommodating and gave us several helpful suggestions for the next day! We would definitely recommend her for any new visitors to Tokyo that wants a local to help navigate the busy streets and areas of Tokyo! A++

Our guide Yoshiko was fantastic! Very very helpful and great flexibility for the day. Perfect English dvd always ensured we had everything we needed and was able to easily flex to our requests. A very enjoyable day and a great start to our holiday!

Tokyo Private Tour With Local Guide

Mariko was a great guide! She took us to the highlights we had wanted to see in Tokyo and also shared the history and culture of the Tokyo sights. She was very knowledgeable and fun to spend our day with. She also made suggestions for the remaining stops on our Japan trip and taught us many things about Japan. Our guided tour was an easy, efficient way to see the highlights of Tokyo.

An enjoyable, informative, fun day. shops, shrines, graveyards, gardens, even a flea market. We saw a slice of life in one of Tokyo‘s older neighborhoods. An excellent lunch. Our guide, Sherilyn excelled and was a laugh out loud kind of fun. We shared stories, family history, and got along like old friends. One of our better days & we are grateful to her for it.
