Amazing day with Muadh

Although there was a number of incidents on the way to Nikko, the trip was very worthwhile. Muadh made it a very special day and we saw everything we had planned. Unfortunately the queues for the shrine were ridiculous due to Golden Week so we had to satisfy ourselves with pictures from the outside. The lake and waterfalls were breathtaking. Muadh is a very competent and professional driver so was able to cope with the almost 7 hours of driving. Tip to anyone wanting to see Nikko, stay in a hotel in the area.

Fantastic, memorable day In Nikko National Park!

Orko san was our guide and Adi san, a trainee, joined us for an entire day tour that was extraordinary. They picked us up at our Shinjuku hotel and we were driven to the mountains near Nikko. We love nature and spent a fun filled day in the serenity of one of Japan’s beautiful national parks including snow capped mountains, lakes, and waterfalls, all in Nikko Park. We visited Lake Chusenji, Kegon and other waterfalls and much more. Orko san and Adi san were so knowledgeable they made the beauty of nature in Japan come alive. More than that, as we talked on the journey to the park they made us feel like we were with good friends. What a memorable day!

I had a wonderful day with Anas. He got me safely and efficiently to the places I wanted to visit. He suggested an additional stop that turned out to be wonderful. During the rides to Nikko and back to Tokyo, we had interesting conversations. This was a thoroughly enjoyable day trip, thanks to an excellent guide.
