During our tour, we'll meander along picturesque canals, cross several bridges, and encounter captivating street art. Prepare to be amazed as we navigate through old industrial zones and bustling ship docks, revealing the true hidden gems of Amsterdam. We'll even hop on a ferry to explore the hip and upcoming Amsterdam North, where you'll witness the intriguing sight of lost cranes and industrial buildings at NDSM.   • Mike's Bike Tours Amsterdam (Pass By)

    We are starting at A Bike Vondelpark for our tour, everyone gets a bike and ready to go.

  • Amsterdam West

    We will start the tour and make our way through Amsterdam Oud-West. This is relatively laid-back and features several wide streets lined with dozens of trendy bars, restaurants and concert venues

  • Westergas

    We will visit the old gas factory that is turned into a Culture Park since 2003.

    10 minutes

  • Westerpark

    We ride through the beautiful 19th century Westerpark, one of the calmer city parks in Amsterdam with some amazing pieces of art.

    Cycling to the new Houthavens area and see the modern pontsteiger building and more architecture in the old harbour. We will take the ferry to the other side of the river

  • NDSM Wharf

    Go over the early 20th century NDSM wharf where big ships were built until the 1980's. We will see big halls, ramps for ships and an old crane. The terrain is also famous for all the street-art and we can have a drink in one of the inspiring bars on the terrain (beverages not included).

  • Amsterdam North (Pass By)

    Cycling over the bikepaths in the new Amsterdam North, Industrial and a lot of modern architecture.

    We will pass the Eye filmtheater, modern architecture.

  • Centraal Station (Pass By)

    Take the ferry to cycle next to Amsterdam Central Station and learn more about our cycling culture.

SO MUCH FUN

Ashton was an amazing guide taking us around the back streets of Amsterdam. Graffiti was awesome fun as was the magnet fishing. And a bit of Dutch history and politics on the way. Bikes were great and the route really interesting. So great to get off the typical tourist track. Highly recommend!

Can't recommend experiencing Amsterdam by bike enough

What a fabulous tour... Our guide Michael C (Carlson I think?) was knowledgable, patient and generally made the whole experience entertaining and informative. Although the tour is mainly in the industrial parts of Amsterdam, Michael guided is through the few busy Amsterdam Streets we encountered with confidence, making sure no one fell behind. I can't recommend experiencing Amsterdam by bike enough. Thanks!

An Amsterdam Adventure

My friend and I had a blast with Ashton guiding us through the interesting, lesser known attractions of Amsterdam. We magnet fished, legally graffitied, and gained the confidence to bike on our own through Amsterdam all in 3 hours. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone new to Amsterdam.

Learn to grafetti in Amsterdam’s Noord!

Our knowledgeable and friendly guide Mike led us on a leisurely tour of we had plenty of time for questions and we learned many things about Amsterdam and its history and present. A tour highlight was in the Noord where we saw the NDSM art space in the former shipyard and learned how to grafetti. A lovely way to meet people and see the city while taking a break from walking.
