Red Light District (Pass By)
There is more then one red light in Amsterdam. We will pass through a less known district but not interfere in the business going on. We give you some of the basic information in respect to the workers no stoping here.

Portuguese Synagogue (Pass By)
Very Close to the New Market area is the heart of the Jewish district of Amsterdam. We will point out this historic Landmark as we discuss our historic link to Jewish immigration.
Dam Square
The Dam square is the heart of the downtown and we pass by this monument during the tour to talk about some historic buildings.

Royal Palace Amsterdam
The Palace is on our tour route. Usually the End Point. We tell some history of the building and its relativeness in todays city.

Maison Descartes (Pass By)
OPTIONAL. Some of our guides, on nicer days, will go west of the city center to the Jordaan. If you request at the start we will make the journey.
Westerkerk (Pass By)
Optional. This monument is in the Canal District and can be seen during the tour if you request at the start of your adventure

We ended up having a private tour which was awesome. Our tour guide was vey knowledgeable about Amsterdam and took us around the older areas of downtown He explained history of the canals and how they work. He explained the architecture of the house/loft/warehouse. He also explained the commerce and ingenuity of Dutch people making the city come alive for us as we also tasted highlights of local cuisine - hating kibberling and pancakes. Great job!!

Great experience with guide Sean who was really informative about the history of Amsterdam and also gave good recommendations.
Sean’s sidekick Tolkien also was a welcomed addition to the tour, and provided some great company for those who were maybe missing their pets whilst travelling.
