Overview

We start our journey through time in Trogir. „The Stone Beauty" is an excellent example of over two millennia of urban continuity. Its historic center is part of the UNESCO World Heritage. We will explore the narrow streets, majestic Cathedral of St Lawrence with its stunning Portal, palaces and much more in this charming „museum town". It is said that Greek god of happy moment wanders the streets and if you catch it by its hair you will get your share of happy moments. Try not to miss him! Next stop Split! We will kick-off with the iconic Diocletian's Palace, 1700 year old living organism that is a unique blend of past and present. You'll stroll its mysterious streets, explore the piazzas and hear everything from the old myths to today's topics. We'll show you the city from its turbulent beginnings to the present, discovering amazing people and stories in the process.

    See the majestic Cathedral in Trogir from the inside.

  • The Golden Gate

    Emperor Diocletian entered the main palace gates for the first time when he retired and never looked back, see for yourself what made him stay. Overlooking the gates, the statue of Croatian bishop Grgur offers good luck to all passengers.

  • The Peristyle of Diocletian's Palace

    Peristyle is the geographical and spiritual center of the Palace. This square is one of the closest links of a modern man with the ancient heritage and it leaves a monumental impression to this day. Surrounded by some of the highlights of the city, Peristyle is closely guarded by a 3500 year old sphinx.

    Pjaca is the central stage of the city life where the citizens of Split always find a place to rest, meet, see and be seen and of course discuss the most important thing, football.

    Prokurative or as they are officially called, Republic Square resemble the Venice St. Marks Square. The square is open on the south side, providing a beautiful view of the harbor and the Riva.

My first time visiting Split with a friend. The tour was absolutely perfect - actually beyond my expectations. The guide was very professional, flexible, and knowledgeable and gave further insight and background whenever I had questions. Family walking tour of beautiful and historic Split + Trogir

We booked the Trogir + Split tour with Temper Travel and it was awesome. We are traveling with our 15 y/o son and 12 y/daughter and never seen them so engaged as they were for the full 4 hours with Bosko's stories and explanations of Croatian culture and history. We first went to Trogir which is a short drive from Split and then came back for the Split walking tour. So glad we did this tour, we'd have missed so much if we hadn't. Bosko and his brother Pavle are professional local tour guides that are very knowledgeable and entertaining. I highly recommend them.

Amazing Expereince with Excellent Tour Guide

We joined a city tour in Split and also took a tour to Trogir. Although I had already been to Split a few times, we learned a lot during these tours. Our tour guide, Pavle, was amazing. His guidance was easy to follow, and he answered all our questions. We had a fantastic time with him and highly recommend taking a private tour with him. Even if you're familiar with the city, Pavle goes the extra mile to teach you about the deep history and culture of Split and Croatia. Thank you, and we'll definitely come back for another tour!
