  • Thingvellir National Park

    Þingvellir is a site of historical, geological and cultural importance to Icelanders. For centuries it was the site of the Alþingi, the oldest parliament in the world, before it was moved to Reykjavík. It is also a site of a rift valley caused by continental drift between the North American and Eurasian Plates. This unique geology offers interesting sites such as fissures with crystal clear waters that are popular with divers. Þingvellir is a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site.

  • Geysir

    Geysir is one of the most famous hot springs in the world. All geysers in the world are named after it. It lies dormant at the moment, but its neighbour, Strokkur, goes off every 4-8 minutes, bursting up to 40 metres into the air.

  • Gullfoss Waterfall

    Gullfoss is a waterfall that is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Iceland. It is about 32 m high and drops into a crevice about 20 m wide and 2, 5 km in length. Gullfoss carries a lot of sediments that glacial ice has carved off the earth and colors the water slightly brownish.

  • Langjokull Glacier

    Langjökull (The Long Glacier) is Iceland's second largest glacier. Volcanically the region is relatively quiet. It is one of the most popular glaciers for outdoor activities like snowmobiling and ice cave hunting. This is our base for our snowmobile explorations!

Do the snowmobiling!

An absolutely amazing trip with Sven as our guide who was brilliant! He told us little stories along the way and just made the day even better. The highlight was how amazing the snowmobiling was, if you are debating whether to do it, please trust me when I say you won’t regret it! A once in a lifetime experience.

It was a once in a lifetime experience getting in the back of a super jeep with a real local down to earth guide who looked after every detail and ensured everyone had a great time and knew every detail about everything anyone asked or drove past.

All of the stops were perfect! Oscar, our guide was excellent! Snowmobiling was amazing... just be careful parking.

Golden Circle and Snowmobiling

We did the Golden Circle tour with Snowmobiling which was an amazing day. Bart, our tour guide, was so knowledgeable and was an incredibly good driver. It can be daunting going up the mountain and it can be very bouncy (take travel sickness tablets if you're anything like me), but Bart made me feel confident in his skills the entire time. All the gear was provided and even though it was windy and snowy on the mountainside, I didn't feel that cold. The snowmobile could be a little challenging to handle but we had a good amount of time on it and got some amazing photos. The whole trip was organised really well and I felt like we got a good amount of time in each location. The car was also really comfortable and it was always a small group so it felt nice and relaxed. Would recommend!
