  • Golden Circle Route

    Golden Circle is one of the most popular destinations from Reykjavik. It boasts picturesque landscapes and includes three Iceland's famous attractions: Geysir geothermal area, Gullfoss waterfall and Thingvellir national park.

    Kerið is an iconic volcanic crater of 55 meters depth.

  • Fridheimar

    At this farm will you learn about and see the icelandic horses. You can also purchase food there in case you are hungry.

  • Gullfoss Waterfall

    Gullfoss is a waterfall of the White River Hvítá. It has two steps of 11 and 21 meters and there are pulling more 100 m3 water through it at a second.

  • Thingvellir National Park

    The Thingvellir are both historically and geologically a important location. Here was the first icelandic parliament founded in the late 900s and this is also the a visible division between the eurasian and the north american continental plates.

  • Strokkur

    Strokkur is the little brother or the famous Geysir which not active anymore. Strokkur though is still very active blowing water up into the air every 7 to 10 minutes. At this stop can you also purchase food.

Golden circle in a day

It was a beautiful day covering lots of natural wonders. The guide was very good with information and knowledge of the area and the particular sites.

Don't Miss out on this trip it is a once in a lifetime experience

Dark going Dark Coming Back, but in-between excellent, weather well won't discuss that. The Icelandic Horse centre was a fabulous insight to how this hardy ponies (Horses) work and ride. The Tomato Greenhouses were amazing including the food that went with it all. But for me was Gullfoss Falls, I have wanted to visit since I was 10 yrs old and it did not disappoint, stunning and stunning it was I was lost for words.

A full day with a great variety of sites. We were lucky with the weather - clear but cold. Perfect. During the trip Harold gave an in depth description of each site plus ongoing commentary between sites. He tweaked the route to allow some extra photo opportunities. Harold thanks again you gave some unique insights. 100%.
