    Diocletian was a clever ruler who did everything in his power to stay on top, even declaring himself as the son of the mighty god Jupiter! We'll take you to the Peristyle, where Diocletian would show himself to his people and they would bow down before him. It was the main square in the time of the emperor and the entrance to his imperial apartment. Look around. How many columns do you see?

Best tour for all ages!

This tour was the highlight of our visit to Split! Our 9-year-old son, along with us parents, really bonded with our guide. She made the experience enjoyable for everyone, and her kindness shone through as she answered our questions and turned the tour into a relaxed, engaging conversation. We would highly recommend this tour for all ages. Thank you for teaching us about the many fascinating layers of Diocletian's Palace!

We had a great tour with Dana! She was knowledgeable and made it fun for our 4-year-old while we enjoyed learning about Diocletian’s Palace. She was creative and made it engaging for our little guy, ending with gelato.

Janna was absolutely fantastic and somehow managed the impossible—giving a tour that was both informative for adults and interesting enough for my kids. She won over my four-year-old with challenges and a special treat, and we couldn’t have been more pleased. So glad we booked this tour!

Fantastic Family Tour with Local Insight

We had a wonderful tour of Diocletian’s Palace with Dana. She was so knowledgeable and kind. She made the tour entertaining for our two daughters ages 11 and 14, not an easy feat when juggling teens! Dana speaks English like a native speaker and can easily pivot to so many other languages as well. She was the perfect mixture of professionalism and easy going charm to keep the tour focused but fun and dynamic. We particularly enjoyed her observations and anecdotes as a local growing up in Split. Dana even helped our youngest daughter get an ice cream treat during the tour to keep her happy and attentive and offered the best chocolates from a local chocolatier at the end. This was the best tour we had during our two weeks in Croatia. We highly recommend a tour with Dana. We hope we can meet up with her again on our next visit to Croatia.

History brought to life for little ones!

What a brilliant way to get acquainted with this beautiful city. The tour guide was so great with our children aged 10,8 and 5. She tailored the tour so it was interesting and informative for our children and stopped off for a lovely chocolate tasting and quizzes en route! It was so well organised and I would highly recommend to any family wanting to bring history to life for little ones!
