    A town famous for the greenhouses and the “Hot River” of Reykjadalur, sitting in a rift valley between the two continental plates of Eurasia and America.

  • Selfoss (Pass By)

    Selfoss is the largest town in South Iceland

  • Hella (Pass By)

    The name of the town comes from caves near the river.

    Once you reach the town ,you are getting closer to your adventure.

  • Seljalandsfoss

    You’ll be able to experience this waterfall right up close as it crashes off the side of the Eyjafjallajokull volcano from a height of 60 meters. During summer months you will be able to walk behind the waterfall.

    A hidden waterfall,which most visitors miss. We’ll tell you where to find it!

  • Volcano Eyjafjallajokull (Pass By)

    Remember to ask your guide all about the colossal eruption here back in 2010, which made Iceland famous all around the world!

  • Skogafoss

    Skogafoss is one of the most iconic waterfalls in the world, and even featured in “Game of Thrones”. Because of its south-facing position, it is often covered in rainbows as the 60-meter cascade of water produces a lot of spray! Skogafoss is one of the most popular sights in the country and it’s possible to climb to the top of the falls to see it from there too.

  • Solheimajokull Glacier

    Solheimajokull is part of one of the largest glaciers in the country, Myrdalsjokull. In the summer months (April to October), you can book an optional extra on this tour to take a glacier hike, with a guide and all the necessary safety equipment provided.

    The stone sea arches of Dyrholaey can also be seen in the distance from Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach

  • Reynisfjara Beach

    It is now time to visit the world-famous black sand beach at Reynisfjara, where beautifully-shaped basalt columns hug the cliffs, volcanic sands are pounded by powerful Atlantic waves and the starkly shaped sea stacks of the Reynisdrangar tower just offshore.

  • If you do not have appropriate footwear, a rental pair will be available

  • The glacier hike may be cancelled due to weather or safety reasons. In that case, other activities will be substituted when possible. Otherwise, a partial refund will be given

This was a wonderful tour, great value for money and we are glad we chose this tour out the many options that are on offer. Nice Travel Iceland seem to be one of the better tour operators and due to the big storm that week our initial booking was cancelled but we were swapped to the next day within a few mins of the cancellation email arriving, all very efficient. We got lucky with our guide too - Walter, who was a star and great fun and kept us entertained with lots of interesting facts and stats too. Make sure you pack for every weather possibility, it seemed to change every 10 mins and we even got some sun at some point, in Vik….which made for some incredible photos. A great day.
