Overview

Explore the Amalfi Coast and Capri area on a private full-day cruise, the most scenic way to experience these stunning parts of southern Italy. Aboard a comfortable leisure boat or classic Italian wooden boat, let your private captain take you from Positano or another village, along the Amalfi Coast toward Capri. Marvel at the Faraglioni rock formations and the Li Galli private islands and nature reserve, stopping en route to swim. Cross the Bay of Naples to the Island of Capri, where you can also choose to have time on the island if you wish. You can customise by allocating the time you have based on what you are most interested in seeing on the itinerary.

  • Li Galli (Pass By)

    Cruise through this archipelago located off the coastline not far from Positano. You can choose to stop for a swim in this scenic spot if you wish.

  • Spiaggia di Positano Marina Grande (Pass By)

    Start your day by meeting your boat and captain at Positano's large cement pier just next to the Spiagga Grande beach.

  • Blue Grotto (Pass By)

    The most famous grotto on Capri, you can choose to stop here to visit inside the Blue Grotto to see the shimmering electric blue water. (Visiting the grotto is optional and the entrance fee is not included in this excursion.)

  • Grotta Verde (Pass By)

    One of the many gorgeous grottoes on Capri where you can stop and swim in the deep green colored water.

  • Grotta di Matromania (Pass By)

    Gaze up at this striking grotto from the boat, which is the best spot to see this soaring grotto.

  • Spiaggia di Marina Piccola (Pass By)

    See this picturesque harbor dotted with seaside restaurants and beach clubs.

  • I Faraglioni (Pass By)

    These three large rocks are an iconic symbol of Capri. Cruising through the hole in the center rock is a thrilling experience!

  • Villa Malaparte (Pass By)

    A fine example of Italian modern architecture, you won't want to miss spotting this red colored villa sitting atop a rocky promontory on Capri.

  • Punta Carena Lighthouse (Pass By)

    Cruise past the beautiful pink and white lighthouse located at the rugged southwestern tip of the island.

The Highlight of our Time on the Amalfi Coast

Our private tours with Francesco from Exclusive Cruises were the highlight of our trip! We enjoyed the first one so much that we booked a second tour. Francesco was incredibly informative about the region, providing us with fascinating insights and stories. He was respectful, helpful, and always attentive to our needs. Francesco made excellent choices for lunch, taking us to two fantastic restaurants that we would have never found on our own. He took cues from us on what to do and where to stop, whether it was for site-seeing or swimming. We highly recommend booking a tour with Francesco and Exclusive Cruises!

Private boat tour Positano to Capri

We had an amazing day on the boat! Our tour guide Augusto was very accommodating and made sure we were able to do everything we wanted to on our tour. This was our highlight of Positano and the kids loved it. Would highly recommend a private tour for families.

A MUST if you truly want to experience the Amalfi Coast

Our boat captain was Franco, and our skipper was Fabrezia. Flora with Exclusive Cruises was our first point of contact. Her instructions were spot on, and we had no problem finding the boat at the port in Sorrento. Franco and Fabrezia were the perfect hosts, we had the most memorable day on the water and in Capri. We had fun swimming and taking in all the views. They even let us Bluetooth one of our phones to the boat so we could play our own playlist! A private tour is definitely the way to experience Capri and the stunning views, water, and caves. If I could give this more than 5 stars, I would!
