Overview

You’ll join one of our local Munich hosts to explore the dreamy capital of Bavaria. Follow your host through medieval squares and cobbled streets as you explore Altstadt, or a charming neighborhood like maxvorstadt. Can you see yourself exploring sites like the English Garden, Marienplatz and the Neo- gothic Neues Rathaus before things get really local and you spend a few hours in a biergarten? We can. Within 24 hours after booking you'll receive a short questionnaire about your personality and interests. Based on your responses, you'll be assigned a like-minded host who will communicate with you directly to suggest an itinerary to help you discover what makes the city unique. You will also agree on a meeting time and place. Your itinerary is flexible, so during the experience, you can always change your mind about what you want to do.

Sandra our guide was great!

City unscripted was unlike the private tours I’ve booked in the past. Upon booking, they sent me a survey on what I’d like to see in Munich. After that they paired me with our guide Sandra who emailed me to say hello and answered a few questions we had, some of which are how to get to the airport to hotel etc. We had a great time during the tour. Not only did she take us to several Christmas Markets which I loved, she talked about the city and best of all, we learned how to go around the city using all sorts of public transportation through her. We also ate at all the suggested restaurants and food stands she recommended after the tour and we enjoyed every bit of them. I highly recommend this tour.

We did a 3 hour walking tour with Sandra from City Unscripted. She was wonderful. We had the most enjoyable time walking through all the different areas of the city. Sandra was very knowledgeable and provided us with great insight into Munich. She fitted so much into the time we had and we would not hesitate to recommend her.
