Your guide will pick you up at your hotel by car and you'll head straight to to Montserrat in private transport approximately an hour drive away. Enjoy the landscapes that surround Catalunya while your local guide tells you all about the magical mountain and its Benedictine Monastery. Take a short hike to one of the most beautiful panoramic spots in the area, the Creu de Sant Miquel Viewpoint.

Pau was our wonderful guide and he gave us a lot of background about Montserrat and about the history. We are artists so we are very interested in this kind of thing. He took us to the art museum as the choir were not singing during Christmas as they were on holiday. We saw amazing views, the black Madonna, and the exquisite church with is full of beautiful Renaissance art, sculptures, mosaics, and paintings. He inspired us to go back as soon as possible!

Taking the afternoon tour was great. Got picked up at 12:00 and missed the crowds. Driver was Pau, very informative and friendly. Traveled with my spouse which should be an option when looking for feedback.
