Meeting points

Once in Barcelona Nord Bus Station, check-in at our Castlexperience office on the 1st floor, Section B (Ticket Offices A, B, or C). Look for the PINK OFFICE as a reference point. Arrive 20 minutes before the tour starts to check in before proceeding to the buses on the ground floor.

  • Abadia de Montserrat

    Embark on this well-paced full-day experience that will take you from Barcelona city center to the heart of Barcelona’s countryside. Departing early in the morning from Barcelona's North Station, your first destination will be the scenic Monastery of Montserrat. A whole morning of astounding landscape, views and history await in there. After enjoying a one-hour-long tour through the highlights of Montserrat Monastery, you will have more than two hours of free time. Your guide will advise on all your options depending on your interests and, so that you can make the most of your time in Montserrat.

    Those who select the options with wine will enjoy a full traditional catalan lunch, a visit to a 10th century castle turned into a wine cellar and a tasting of their wonderful production.

  • The tour is conducted in English.
  • Comfortable clothes and walking shoes are recommended. Montserrat and the winery may have more extreme temperatures than Barcelona—check the forecast and dress accordingly. Bring water, especially in summer.
  • The tour is not wheelchair accessible, but service animals are allowed. For reduced mobility, contact us before booking to discuss arrangements.
  • Infants (3 years or younger) join free of charge but are not provided with car seats or meals.
  • Dietary restrictions or allergies are accommodated without advance notice.
  • We often work with boutique, family-owned wineries. Due to logistics, the winery may vary from Oller del Mas.
  • Tour timings are approximate and may vary due to traffic, weather, or unforeseen events. We recommend avoiding scheduling other activities immediately after the tour to allow for potential delays.
  • We follow all health and safety guidelines issued by authorities to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.

My daughter and I had a wonderful time at the Monserrat & winery tour. Our tour guide Carlos was not only knowledgeable about the location but also about the wine making process & wine business in general. We got a lot from the tour and became interested in ordering some of the wine we tasted that day. Thank you for a wonderful tour!

Montserrat a Great Time!

I had an amazing experience! I booked the tour through the GetYourGuide app, and my tour guide was Lesley. Lesley not only had a great sense of humor, but she was also very knowledgeable about the history of the buildings, landmarks, and wines that were presented during the tour. She engaged each and every tourist, and encouraged us to engage with one another as well. I met many new people from all over the world as a result. Lesley also went above and beyond, and gave us a list of recommendations for places we should visit while we are still in Barcelona. I’m sure our entire group will miss her positive energy once we depart from Barcelona. Now that I have given Lesley her flowers, I will speak more on the tour itself. The Montserrat was rich with culture. We rode a train up through the mountains in order to get there. Once we arrived we had the option to eat in the cafe, travel further up the mountain, visit the monk temple, buy cheeses and other agriculture from the local farmers, peruse the gift shop, and try some of the liquor. After leaving the Montserrat we went to the winery where we were taught how wine is made in the region while being able to taste different types of wine. Overall, 100 out of 5 rating. Pro tip, if you go during the winter time TAKE A HEAVY COAT. You’ll thank me later.

The whole tour was really well organised with some amazing sights to see, however, we would have missed out if Thais wasn’t our guide. She really took it to the next level for all of us! She’s so fun and made this trip unforgettable.

Best Monserrat and organic wine tour!

This tour was way better than I expected. Our tour guide Gus was very knowledgeable and gave us good recommendations for things to do and food to eat. I already recommended this tour to several people I have come to contact with. Monserrat is a must see and the organic wine with 3 course meal option is spectacular.

The tour was great. MJ and the other guides were kind, and helpful. Recommend for people who want to see as much as possible in one day. The wines were very good, but make sure to eat something a bit more substantial during the day at Montserrat as the tapas were more like a pairing snack
