    Escape from the city of Barcelona for a while and discover the charm of the mountain while you visit the wonderful Monastery of Montserrat, Basilica, Atrium and chapels of more than 1000 years old. Enjoy a soft hike with no difficulty (please note that even though the hike included in this tour is easy, is not recommended for individuals who have difficulty walking).

Gorgeous! Awesome and breathtaking views

One of the best parts of our trip! Breathtaking views, the entire day was amazing! The tour guide David was wonderful! He was knowledgeable, kind and helpful. I would do this tour again. The Basilica and top of the mountain were breathtaking!

Montserrat Day trip- must do!

This a must-do while in Barcelona! The Basilica was beautiful. We rode the cable car up to see the gorgeous views at the top and then had an easy hike down. David was very knowledgeable and an excellent guide.

Sights of a lifetime

Coming down the hill is not for sissies. I thought the narrative of the trip understated the difficulty of the hill. I am 78 with bad knees so keep that in mind . The views were magnificent and our guide was a joy. I would go back the next time I’m in Spain . On a weekday in the slow season.

David was an awesome guide and we had a great day on the magical mountain of Monserrat. Glad that we selected this tour with the cable car up and the hike down the mountain which really made it a special experience. David was friendly, informative and funny; made the tour all the more special.
