Key Points- • Fishing Trip starts at 6am ( Morning Fishing ), at 4pm ( Evening Fishing ) , 5pm & 6pm (Night fishing). • Lagoon Fishing in Bentota is available throughout the year. • Duration :3 hours. • Both Trolling fishing (Game fishing) & Bottom fishing are offered and available to choose. • if you are lucky with your catch, Arrangement can be made to get cooked & dine at additional cost. Fishing, wildlife and an experienced guide

A really good mornings fishing, pick up from hotel on time 5.45am. We arrived at the beautiful illuminated Buddha and set off in the dark up river. The boat was well equipped and the skipper very knowledgeable, friendly and a great help. We managed to catch 5 trevally whilst taking in the lovely river. Kingfishers, giant bats, grey herons, eagles and a giant lizard swimming. Fantastic trip well worth the early morning start

we are very very delighted with our fishing session. Harinda is a very good guide who took us to very good locations. we had around ten fish, one very big. Really delighted with our activity ;)

Evening fishing on the lagoon in Bentota. We were picked up around 1630 and taken to the lagoon. Our professional fishermen were very knowledgeable, friendly & polite. First casts out we both had bites and my husband brought in a ladyfish. Mine got away! Evening time on the lagoon is a lovely time to go, not just for the fishing. We saw huge fruit bats & fish eagles! In 2 hours we caught a Jack fish & 4 ladyfish. All in all a very good experience

We found them online offering fishing in the lagoon and was very helpful and quick to get us booked up. We had a an early start getting picked up by our driver dinesh. He was very friendly and told us lots of info on the way to the boat. When we arrived we was passed over to our fishing tour guide. I didnt catch his name but he was brilliant. Within moments of starting we both had fish on our line! We caught around 15 fish mostly being catfish. Once it had warmed up the fishing slowed so we set off into the growth looking for wildlife. He had an eagle eye and spotted so many animals we would never of seen. Monitor lizards, bats, iguanas, snakes, crocodiles to name a few. When we returned to the shore dinesh was waiting for us and was eager to find out how we got on. He then took us to see the beach close by and offered to show us anywhere we wanted to! I would highly recommend this to anyone. Even if fishing isnt your thing you can still find enjoyment.
