Incredible experience.... learnt so much. Fresh ingredients, so much food! Vinodh and his family were so hospitable.... arranging transport to and from, we even got a certificate at the end! Our next family cook off will be Sri Lankan food! Thank you so much

Enjoyable authentic Sri Lankan cookery course

Prior to our trip we asked Vinodh to organise a Tuktuk to the course and back. This worked out well. Once at the course Lakshani kindly took us through the course. We started cracking coconuts so we could extract the flesh to make coconut milk, sambal and roti. We then started preparing and making Beetroot, green bean and chicken curries as well as a Dahl. We also made egg plant salad, an Ochre dish and Special rice. It was an enjoyable course under Lakshani and we got to enjoy our labours at the end. We look forward to trying out the recipes at home.

Really good way to learn about Sri Lankan cooking while making excellent dishes and eating them afterwards. Fresh ingredients, great space and instruction. Definitely recommend this if near Bentota

Amazing experience, faultless. The tour of the garden, explaining all the fresh ingredients was wonderful, the spot for the class was breezy and beautiful, overlooking the river. The food was absolutely delicious and our teacher was knowledgeable and enthusiastic, galvanising our interest in Sri Lankan food. Added excitement of Monitor Lizard and Rex the Dog.
