Lasantha took us on a fabulous tour around Kandy and lots of pretty countryside and villages. It included the Big Buddha, the amazing three 14th century temples, an interesting tea factory, the Kandy look out, a spice garden, the sacred tooth relic temple and to round off the day, the Kandy cultural performance.
Lasantha provided a wealth of information and conveyed his obvious interest in and enthusiasm for his city. He was keen to tailor the tour to our wishes. Lasantha is very kind and was well liked by everyone we met.
