Fantastic trip with Ice Explorers. The stated 1.5 hours was all time on location, not including travel time from the meeting location to the glacier parking, and our guide Guillermo was absolutely lovely. There were some crowds at the cave when we went in, but by the time we were coming out, most of the others had already left, and we were able to get good, people-free shots. The light and the blues in the ice cave ceiling were fantastic.
Only one niggle - I don't understand why weren't given full crampons instead of the spring-like YakTrak style mini-traction devices. Getting onto the glacier and into the cave was very slick, but there were ropes to hang onto. Once inside the cave, there were ice floors and you were on your own. Footing was really bad in places and full crampons would have made a huge difference.
