Overview

Live a magical adventure! In this private all-inclusive tour, you will get to sail around Guatape and El Peñol lake in a motorboat, see Pablo Escobar's bombed lake mansion, try the best of Colombian fruits, have lunch in a beautiful lake villa, walk around Guatapé where you will get to know the local culture and have a grate cup of coffee. Finally, you will get to visit the Peñol Rock, walk it all the way to the top and enjoy the view. All this in the companion of a bilingual tour guide.

    We will visit the colorful town of Guatape, where you can walk along the boardwalk, have a delicious coffee and explore its colorful streets.

    Visit the peñol rock and go up to the top and enjoy the vest view of the zone.

    In our private boat we will ride the dam, see the Piedra del Peñol from the water and visit the old flooded town.

Guatapé, La Piedra del Peñol, and a Beautiful Lake House Lunch

This is a fantastic way to spend a day! It is a very relaxing trip and provides a wonderful break from the hustle and bustle of Medellin. The drive to Guatapé is beautiful and offers a great overview of the countryside outside of Medellin. Guatape is a beautiful town. It is very well kept, colorful, and the woodwork inside the church is incredible. La Piedra del Peñol is also beautiful and no doubt offers amazing views but due to fog and rain I decided not to climb. The hosts had backup plans and an alternative activity/destination that I was interested in was offered instead. I was happy. The boat ride is both fun and beautiful and takes you to the lake house where you will have lunch. The house and surrounding scenery are beautiful. I could have spent the entire day there. Lunch was delicious and the hosts were extremely friendly and hospitable. I felt like I had spent the day with friends. I would absolutely recommend this day trip to anyone and would do it again for the lake house and the lunch alone. The hosts speak excellent English.

We have done several excursions with Furō, and our experiences with them have always been awesome! The service, the food, the boat ride going to beautiful spots of the dam, and the kindness of the team make the experience with them something unforgettable and highly recommended. Additionally, the villa where you have lunch is very nice and with a beautiful view of the lake. It's a recommended experience both with friends, as a family or as a couple :)

In our recent trip to guatape we wanted to have a local experience without all the traffic and hastle of going by our own. A friend of ours told us about lina and he was right ON. She was detailed oriented and was a great VIP experience for me and my friends. We where 3 couples and had a great time!

A must when in Medellin!

This was a great and exclusive experience, as they made every possible effort to make us feel great. The views from the top of the rock are breathtaking, and having a private boat to go around the “represa“ was just fantastic. Lunch was delicious and the coffee was the final touch for this awesome experience. I could not recommend it enough!

Unique experience, Guatape is beautiful and the tour and the guides were incredible, one of those moments that you hope does not end. If you travel to Colombia, you have to go to Medellin and from there travel and get to know Guatape, highly recommended.
