Meteorological Pole
We will start our day with pick-up at a designated location in Zagreb city center. The meeting point is easy to recognize: the address is Zrinjevac 2, at the beginning of Zrinjevac Park. For easier orientation, look for the famous Meteorological Column, a historic landmark in the park that has provided weather data to locals since 1884.

Slovenia (Pass By)
Once all guests are comfortably seated in our vehicle, our exciting day begins! We’ll drive through the western part of Zagreb, cross the Sava River, and after about a 40-minute drive, reach the border with Slovenia. Due to possible border control, please have your travel documents ready (passports or ID cards if you’re from the EU). We have another 2.5-hour drive ahead of us to reach our first destination – Lake Bohinj. For the most part, we’ll be driving on the highway, and on a clear day, we’ll be treated to stunning views of the majestic Slovenian Alps.
Waterfall Savica
Our first destination is the stunning Savica Waterfall. This beautiful waterfall, one of the most famous in Slovenia, cascades down 78 meters into a crystal-clear pool. It is located in the heart of the Triglav National Park, about a 20-minute hike from the parking area. The hike takes you through lush forested paths and up approximately 500 steps, requiring a moderate level of physical fitness. This journey offers a chance to immerse yourself in nature.
For those who prefer not to hike to the waterfall, you can spend your time relaxing by the peaceful shores of Lake Bohinj. Take a leisurely stroll, enjoy a coffee at a nearby café, or simply soak in the tranquil alpine atmosphere. Whether you choose the hike or some lakeside relaxation, you’ll have time to enjoy the beauty of this natural wonder.

Ribcev Laz
After visiting the waterfall, we will take a boat ride from Ukanc to Ribčev Laz. During the journey, you’ll be treated to stunning views of the surrounding mountains and lush greenery, as well as glimpses of the pristine waters of Lake Bohinj. Keep an eye out for local wildlife and enjoy the serene atmosphere of this picturesque area. Once we arrive at Ribčev Laz, you will have some free time to enjoy a coffee and take a short stroll along the lake, soaking in the beautiful scenery.
