My Neighborhood, My Favorite Restaurants! Join me on a true insider foodie tour through one of Berlin’s most vibrant areas: the 'Wrangelkiez' in Kreuzberg. Discover the extraordinary culinary diversity of this neighborhood while uncovering the stories behind its restaurants. From traditional delicacies to vibrant international street food, prepare to explore a world of flavors. This tour is a unique blend of cultural stops featuring local history and anecdotes, paired with tastings at five of my hand-picked favorite restaurants. The rotating menu may include specialties from Turkey, Vietnam, Peru, Austria, Sweden, Germany... Berlin's ubiquitous kebab or currywurst isn’t part of the standard program, but can be included upon request! Each "snack" is a small yet satisfying portion—far more than just a bite-sized sample. Over the course of the tour, you’ll enjoy the equivalent of a full meal. Let a local insider guide you to the hidden gastro gems of this Kiez!

Meeting point is at the end of the Cuvrystraße directly by the river-bank of the Spree. The nearest subway stop is Schlesisches Tor. Search for ‘Cuvrystrasse 2’ if you are using Google Maps.

    Learn the history of this unusual bridge: One of Berlin’s best known landmarks, the Oberbaumbrücke - connection between East and West - embedded in much local history.

Delightful evening full of hidden gems.

What a fun evening! Klaus was very engaging, and knowledgeable. He shared a bit of local history of the neighborhood. We tried many different types of food with enough to make a meal out of the evening. Including some that we’ve never had before or would have tried without the help of Klaus. We highly recommend taking the time with him and exploring this wonderful neighborhood.
