Overview

Enjoy a one and a half hour South Padre Island Dolphin Watch aboard the newly renovated Murphy's Law and see Atlantic Bottle-nose Dolphins in their natural habitat. During the Eco Tour/Dolphin Watch, you will also have the opportunity to see local and migratory birds and various sea life. The guided tour will also include the southernmost U.S. Coast Guard Station, Boca Chica Beach, the current location of Space X, and the South Padre Island Jetties...entryway to the Brownsville Ship Channel where one of the largest Shrimp Fleet calls home.

Dolphin Watching

We were just passing by Port Isabel and looking for helicopter or boat rentals when we stumbled upon this eco dolphin-watching tour at just the right time. Booking tickets over the counter was very easy. Although the weather was a bit gloomy, we decided to go anyway. Thanks to Captain Michael and Hanley (I hope I spelled that correctly) for making our trip enjoyable. There were a lot of kids on board, and they had a blast spotting dolphins and touching the catch.

We got to see the dolphins all along in our tour. Harley and Mike did an excellent job. They were very personable. It was windy and cold but the sites and the narrative made it worthwhile!

Fantastic. We had our kids, 11 and 12 yr old girls with us, and they couldn't stop talking about it afterwards. When I asked them which was better, seeing the dolphins up close or seeing and holding what was in the dragnet they couldn't decide. They were thrilled by both, as was I. Great experience for the money!!! So glad we chose to do this.
