    Guided tour of the Pena Palace. Walk through the Palace's lush gardens. Enjoy the landscape from the highest point of Serra de Sinta and take photos.

    Free time to discover Sintra, walk through the small streets of Sintra and discover the architecture and romantic corners that the village has to offer. Or simply sit on one of the terraces and enjoy lunch and taste one of the Portuguese wines. Don't forget to sweeten the experience with the typical "travesseiro de Sintra" pastry

  • Cabo da Roca

    Enjoy the magnificent view and take the best photos at the westernmost point of Continental Europe, Cabo da Roca. Located at latitude 38º 47´ North and longitude 9º 30´ West, Cabo da Roca is an important coordinate for those who sail along the coast, being the westernmost point of the continental European continent, a fact proven by the certificate that visitors take as remembrance. About 150 meters from the sea, here you can have a comprehensive view over the Serra de Sintra and the coast, which makes the visit worth it. Historical records point to the existence of a fort in Cabo da Roca in the 17th century. XVII which played an important role in guarding the entrance to Lisbon, forming a defensive line along the coast, especially during the Peninsular Wars. Currently there are only traces, apart from the lighthouse which continues to be an important point for navigation.

    Stop to discover Cascais, a town located next to the sea and traditionally a fishing village, which underwent important development in the 19th century. XIV. But it was in the century. XIX, when sea bathing began to be popular, Cascais underwent a boost that transformed it into a summer resort for the aristocracy and the Portuguese royal family. Take the opportunity to take a stroll through the streets that have excellent quality shops or a few moments of rest on one of the many terraces that exist here. The beaches continue to be one of the biggest attractions, so if the weather permits, don't forget your bathing suit and go for a swim on one of Cascais' many beaches.

Great tour!!

This was a great tour! We considered just taking the train from Lisbon and doing Sintra and the palace on our own - I’m so glad we decided not to take that option. Instead we had a comfortable van take us directly to the palace (otherwise you have to take a separate bus after the train) and our driver walked us through the palace and told us all about it. He also made recommendations on where to eat and shop in town. We also loved Cascais and Cabo de Roca which we would have missed on our own. The driver was very friendly and informative, answering all our questions. We had just the right amount of free time in each place. I highly recommend this tour!

Worthwhile tour. Fascinating history. Lots of climbing; great exercise. Not advisable for those with heart, mobility issues. Ricardo was top notch. Long day but worth it. Nice stop at the coffee shop in the way. . City centre had lots of good places to eat and quaint stores.

I went on a tour with Ricardo in June 2024. There were three of us on the tour: two other tourists and I. Ricardo organized an amazing tour: we saw and learned a lot. After the tour, I had to go to the hospital due to an unexpected necessity occurred for me. Ricardo drove me there, though he wasn't obliged to do that since the tour was already over. Moreover, Ricardo was ready to come and visit the hospital with me to help me there as I don't speak Portuguese. It's incredible. Ricardo is not only an excellent guide, but also a very kind and helpful person.
