Your Doubtful Sound adventure begins as you cruise the crystal clear waters of Lake Manapouri. Then it's over Wilmot Pass, stopping along the way to experience some of Fiordland's densest rainforest and to view the colorful alpine moss gardens before joining the 2-hour 45-minute Doubtful Sound Cruise that takes in the most dramatic scenery of Doubtful Sound.

Doubtful Sound cruise exceeded expectations!

Great excursion to Doubtful Sound! Total of 4 bus rides and 3 boat rides in total but well worth it! Beautiful scenery all around. Cruise on Doubtful Sound was amazing. Wasn’t prepared for some rough seas in the ocean but didn’t last too long. Saw NZ fur seals. Boat was comfortable and crew were friendly and helpful.

Remote and awesome Doubtful Sound made accessible through this well organised trip.

A wonderful piece of wilderness that was a one off experience. Two boat rides and two coach journeys with an early start was a worthwhile experience to really get the feel of Fiordland and the chance to see a large seal colony. Awe inspiring climate that is hard to experience in every day life.

The journey itself—starting with the bus and boat trips over—was smooth and well-organized, building anticipation for what was to come. Once in the Sound, everything was absolutely amazing—the breathtaking views, the peaceful atmosphere, and the insightful explanations from the guides about the surrounding areas. Their knowledge and passion really added to the experience. It was truly an incredible and unforgettable experience. Highly recommend.
