I booked 2 round trips and accidently also bought 2 extra 1-way's across from Te Anau to Brod Bay. I mentioned it to our boat skipper.
By the time we got back to our hotel a half hour later, Christine had actually already reached out to me offering a refund. I told her I was so impressed by the quick and proactive customer service, to not worry about any refund ($60 NZD). She responded they didn't want money 'they didn't earn', and insisted on refunding the money.
I can't remember last time I've had that type of positive customer experience.
