Wonderful experience, our driver Bunty was excellent as well as the tour. He picked us up and dropped us off right at our hotel without problems. It was a very smooth process from the beginning to the end. Very informative and fun with interesting facts and commentary throughout the drive. The drive out there went through some beautiful areas. The Te Piua experience was great we learned so much about the Māori culture, the geothermal features were nice and the opportunity to see Kiwis was wonderful and unexpected. The artisans were wonderful. The buffet lunch was outstanding. After lunch a local guide took us around Rotorua, some of the highlights included the Redwoods, the blue and green lakes and some local points of interest in town. All were nice and very interesting. We met back up with Bunty for the return trip to Auckland. It was a full day but highly recommend the experience.

Friendly client services. All communications were handled competently and quickly. Whole experience was positive, a professionally operated company and staff.
This was probably one of the most unique experiences I have had on a tour. Felt more like an adventure than a tour! Stephen was a fountain of information and his passion for what he does just shone through. Even though I have done this once, if I am ever back in Rotorua , I would do this again in a heartbeat!
Overall, one of the best tours we have been on. Our tour guide, Brenda, picked us up promptly on time, and drove us to see the caves and the glowworms. It was interesting seeing them, and learning about them. The boat ride in the glowworm pond was enjoyable. After the caves, we proceeded to Hobbit Town. We first had a lunch at the hobbit cafe, and then toured the hobbit houses. Very interesting seeing how they filmed the scenes. Touring inside a hobbit house was great, and we were allowed to do most anything in the home laying on the hobbit bed was pretty cool. Overall, the tour was long, but extremely enjoyable. Our tour guide made sure that the drive was interesting, and enjoyable. Overall, a great day.
Dave, our driver was fabulous. He was very clear about the timing we had to stick to for Hobbiton & the caves. I enjoyed the chips, which were like prawn crackers. I recommend booking directly with them & not via Bookings.com like we did, as communication was difficult to organize the pickup location.
A must do if staying in Dunedin. The penguins were a little tardy to arrive at first but we were entertained by two adolescent NZ sea lions playing on the beach. Then the penguins arrived in droves and we saw 60 little penguins parading up the beach. Guides were fantastic. Your tour money goes directly to this group to maintain the penguin habitat. Worth every cent!
Enjoyed our afternoon with Hamish, who kept us to time and provided some good tips for the rest of our trip. Wineries were good. Our only comment was that many of the selections were very similar - maybe a bit of fizz or dessert wine would have been good. The group we toured with were good fun and we really enjoyed ourselves..
One of the highlights of our trip. We booked the 4x4 and Mou Waho tours back to back and really had a fantastic time. The guides were really informative and friendly. The 4x4 provided some thrilling driving to the most amazing lookout over the Lake and islands. The food was lovely and the experience didn't feel rushed at all. The afternoon to the island allowed a hike to the top to see the "island on a lake on an island on a lake on an island on an ocean!" Nice walk and great views, especially if you carry on up to the second lookout. Thanks to Wanaka Water Taxi for a fantastic day.
Hibiscus were amazing very thoughtful with lots of little recommendations of what to bring and what to do explained everything in an easy to understand manner. jet ski from island to island was amazing lots of beautiful spots. would for sure recommend was great going with family lots of memories made.
GOAT island dive and snorkel did a great job explaining things and safety issues. Our equipment fit well and our guide Conner showed us the dish we might in our preparation. In the water it was very nice with Conner showing the fish and filming the event. We would do it again even though the sea was too rough and we had to go to Matheson Bay.
We’re lucky today to meet Aaron, an amazing qualified professional tour guide who is a great guy with enthusiasm for his work. Born, raised and growing up from Wellington, he seems to know every corner and every story of his home city. He showed us the Lord of Rings filming site, harbour, downtown, Mt Victoria, parliament buildings and many more interesting highlights. He shared his thoughts and knowledge on everything. We learned a lot from his tour. We highly recommend his personal tour and believe that he’ll never let his guests down. Thank you Aaron! We wish you all the best!
