Best way to see Essaouira!! Highly recommend!!

Can’t recommend this tour enough! These stylish motorbikes are super easy to manage even for total beginners. Our guide Ismael was awesome! Super knowledgeable about the area. What a great way to see Essaouira and the surrounding area. The very friendly owner was on site…such a well run operation. Don’t hesitate!

The perfect experience of Morocco

We had a wonderful time with Ismail of Lou's Rides in Essaouira. We were given an upgrade tour and did the Sunset Odyssey which was a wonderful tour. The bikes are very comfortable and it was nice to have our personalized bike. The things we've seen and the persons we've met were amazing. It's a beautiful experience of Morocco and its people (and animals). I have so many beautiful memories of this trip. My advice: Just go and enjoy, you won't regret!

Despite being a little anxious about this activity, I needn’t have worried as we were in the safe hands of our wonderful guide Ismail. A man with so many facts and so much information to share. Plus he was very charming! We did a very small amount on the road, in the bike lane, and most of the journey was done on tracks, discovering the more rural side of Essaouria where we encountered camels, cows and of course plenty of cats! We had a lovely pit stop with a Berber family and enjoyed their hospitality. Really worth considering this is you are coming to Essaouria.

On & off road - never a dull moment

This was quite simply an exhilarating & refreshing experience. Especially the off-road riding kept me on my toes, so there was never a dull moment. Being used to riding larger bikes, I initially thought that the electric bikes, being restricted to 50 kmh moped speed, might get a little boring, but the tour's route was thus selected that there were very few parts where it would have safe or sensible to go much faster. Ismaïl's great work as guide really added value to the tour and he also helped dispel some popular myths - I feel I know Essaouira and its history just that little bit better after the tour - شكراً يا إسماعيل. I'd recommend the Grand Tour of Essaouira to anyone interested in getting to know Essaouira and the surrounding area on two wheels.

My wife and I had an incredible time. Ismail did a stellar job showing us around in electric motorbikes where we saw amazing natural beauty, spent time with some locals and had some tasty delicacies. We highly, highly recommend doing this tour with Ismail - you won't regret it!
