Overview

The Midleton Distillery Experience is a fully guided tour which brings the stories of Jameson's rich heritage to life. You'll learn about the hard working people and field-to-glass processes responsible for the whiskey that bears John Jameson's name. and our portfolio of iconic brands. Learn about the distillation processes and see the old kilns, mills and casks. Gain insight into the ancient art of making whiskey barrels, before finishing up in the Bar, where you can savor a complimentary cocktail. Also includes comparative whiskey tasting.

Tasting or Touring is for everyone, even if you don't drink!

We were on a drive for the day to explore the southern coastal areas of Ireland when we found the Midleton Distillery on the map. My husband, being a scotch man, he wanted to see how they rated. So we went in, without a scheduled tour and they were able to get us in for a tasting. It was fun as our tasting guide, Aoife, was knowledgeable and really engaging with each member of the small group we had. The history of the distillery that she shared really was nice as I like the historical side rather than the liquor side.

Great experience to learn about Irish Whiskey

Overall a good experience. Fun to see the grounds, learn the history & process. Tasting is a plus and the ginger-ale, lime & Jameson cocktail at the end was more refreshing than expected. Reasonably priced in my opinion. Our guide was very friendly & knowledgeable, my only critique for our family is they had a thick Spanish accent that was hard to decipher some words a few times. May not be an issue for others. Definitely recommend going. Also, worth noting we opted to grab some to-go pizza from Cornerstone pizza afterwards; 100% recommend too.

It was a top notch experience. The audiovisuals were very well done and the tour guide was very knowledgeable and engaging. The whole place was very clean and the tasting was well done.

We had a good time at the Middleton Distillery. Our guide, John was awesome! We had also went on a tour in Dublin, which was good but this tour was even more informative. Highly recommend!

Great tour with knowledgeable and friendly guide. Beautiful buildings. Great to see how whiskey is distilled!! Wife and I enjoyed immensely.
