Discover Cork, the 'City of a Thousand Welcomes' with our experienced, local guides who share their passion and knowledge of their beloved city. Our tours are designed to bring people together, with a mission to deepen human connection through storytelling and food (and drinks, of course!) The tour wanders through Cork's famous food and beverage market, the English Market, in operation since the 18th century. Here guests get to meet and chat with local traders for a bit of 'the craic'( Irish for fun) Cork Culinary Tour takes in the very best the city has to offer. With pre-booked tastings of local award-winning cheese, mouthwatering seafood fresh from the Atlantic, handmade Irish bread, gourmet country sausage, and more, all washed down with a creamy stout. The tour finishes in a relaxed heritage pub where guests can enjoy a relaxing local beverage of choice.

Unique tasting tour of the famous English Market and it's history. Plus a local history walk..

This tour was one of the best tours we've been on. We savored all different types of food offerings (meats, meat pies, bread, seafood, fruit & chocolate) in the English Market. Had Irish coffee in one of the oldest pubs. Now I know how to make proper Irish coffee. Yum. Learned the history of the town of Cork and ended the day at another pub with a pint of Irish beer and selection of cheeses and bread. Perfection.

I believe our guide was Celia (sp). She was fantastic. Very knowledgeable and friendly. The food was great and the Irish coffee was the best we had in Ireland. Would highly recommend this tour, especially with Celia.

Our family of 3 adult couples loved the mix of learning about the town of Cork - the history, architecture and current culture - with all the delicious foods! The Irish coffee was tasty as were the chocolates, pies, sausage and fish. The strawberries were superb! Our bellies were full and our faces hurt from smiling and laughing so much. Celia was an excellent guide!

Wonderful Food Tour

What a delight! Frances was so warm and told wonderful history and stories of the city. The food was wonderful and well curated for the tour. I loved that she knew the vendors so well and made everything feel familiar, she also gave wonderful suggestions of what to do after the tour. We had a broad spread of local delights- meats, fresh seafood, cheeses, fruits, meat pie, beer...we left completely stuffed! Would absolutely recommend!

A great tour and a great guide

We recently travelled to Ireland with our 2 adult daughters. As one is a culinary student, we made sure to include a few food tours. It turned out 2 of them were through Bonner Travel and both were amazing. For the English Market in Cork, our guide was Kerry. She brought us to a couple of places outside the market and gave us some history as we walked around. Kerry was very good about asking what our likes/dislikes and food restrictions were and made sure to offer us options from which to choose. The English Market itself was fantastic. We ate extremely well and came away with a lot more understanding of the city and its history. Kerry has a lot of energy and was just fun! You cannot go wrong with this tour.
